Lions are groups of service-minded individuals who are interested in improving their communities. To be a Lion is to be an active volunteer, a member of a respected international organization, a leader in the community and a friend to people in need.
With over 1.4 million members worldwide that serve in over 45,000 clubs from over 200 countries, becoming a LION means becoming a member of something much larger than yourself. Becoming a LION means membership in the largest service organization in the world.
Lions Serve
Lions service is as diverse as our members. Lions volunteer for many different kinds of projects, such as caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, aiding seniors and the disabled, and sponsoring international exchanges for young people.
