Kerrville Host Inducts & Celebrates 10 New Members!

Kerrville Host welcomed the District Governor, Lion Rose Ann Barajas to our meeting today. During the Governor’s official visit, we had the privilege of presenting 9 new Lions present for membership in the Club, who were duly installed by Past International Director, Mike Bulter.

Following the short ceremony, Governor Rose Ann talked about her early years as a Lion and parent and the satisfaction of putting in the hard work to achieve in life but to do so for the betterment of others. It was not lost on those present that she highlighted the importance of including social interactions and relationships in our daily/weekly activities and the great impact that it has on our health and well-being as people. I say it was not lost on those present, because we heard the exact same exhortation from another health expert last week.

During the visit, Gov. Rose Ann also recognized Sherilyn Blase for 15 years of service as a Lion. Sherilyn has been very active in those 15 years, including serving as president of the Kerrville Host Lions Club.
