Today’s program was brought by Clayton Lambert who gave a fascinating program on the uses of private radio operators in the Texas Hill Country and beyond, with emphasis on BEYOND! He discussed the benefits and importance of having both the proper equipment and skills to communicate, especially in times of disaster when systems that are normally relied upon may become unavailable.

According to Lambert, the local radio club operates a number of antennae and repeaters and has more than 150 members who regularly consort to advance the discipline. He invites any and all individuals who have an interest to take advantage of the opportunity to be mentored and to learn about the discipline.
